The Brampton Vein Institute is proud to provide the patients of Brampton and surrounding communities including Bolton, Georgetown, Orangeville, Woodbridge and Caledon with a variety of vein treatment options simply not available in any other clinics in our area.

We are one of the very few clinics in Ontario to have both practitioners holding the prestigious designation of "Fellow' of the Canadian Society of Phlebology. There are no nurses or other non-medical professionals involved.

We can treat virtually any type of venous problem, from small spider veins to huge varicose veins previously only treated surgically.

OUR TEAM
Dr. Robert Tautkus is committed to providing all patients with the most advanced care possible. Dr. Tautkus graduated in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in 1977 and then graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto in 1981 and has been operating his own successful medical practice since 1983.Dr. Tautkus is fluent in both French and English.
Dr. Robert Tautkus is a "Fellow' of the Canadian Society of Phlebology and has been offering superior vein treatment since 1999. Injection Therapy known as Sclerotherapy is the preferred treatment for varicose veins as a non-surgical procedure.
Cera Chis is a highly skilled and dedicated practitioner of all aspects of venous treatment. Cera Chis graduated with her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Bucharest, Romania in 1994. She served her Surgical Residency from 1994-1997 and received her Certification in Pathology in 2000. In 2007 Cera Chis received her Certification in Vascular Ultrasound. As one of only a very few certified 'Fellows' of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, Cera Chis is qualified for complete venous assessment and treatment of the range of venous diseases. Cera Chis has a considerable depth of knowledge in everything related to venous treatment and will provide you with an extremely high quality of patient care

I had been experiencing problems with my legs for several years. In addition to the unsightly appearance, I was experiencing frequent cramping in my legs. While on a visit from California to Toronto, my friend looked at my legs and suggested that I visit Dr. Tautkus. At my initial visit, Dr. Tautkus determined that I had major problems in both of my legs. He explained the procedure needed to correct the venous circulation and addressed all my questions in a very understandable manner. Only one injection was needed on the left leg and it felt like a pin prick. I was able to return to my regular activities the next day. One week later, Dr. Tautkus performed another successful procedure on my right leg. I am no longer embarrassed by my legs and no longer have leg cramping. Dr. Tautkus and his staff were very professional and supportive throughout the entire process. I will recommend Dr. Tautkus to anyone experiencing problems with their veins. I wish that I had seen him years ago.
Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the care and attention with the treatment of the ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. I was very apprehensive prior to my treatments but Dr Tautkus and Cera were reassuring, understanding and all my questions were thoroughly explained. The whole experience was better than I expected with very little bruising and minor discomfort. Will continue some minor sclera treatments with ease.

My name is Ava and I am 18 years old. I began having trouble with a varicose vein in my lower left leg when I was about 13. I was told then that I was too young to have anything done about it, so I suffered lots of pain for years. This affected me everyday of my life. I even hated going shopping with my mom because my leg hurt too much! My mom heard about Dr. Tautkus from a doctor neighbour of ours who also was a patient and we made an appointment. Dr. Tautkus performed the procedure and almost immediately the vein was gone. I now enjoy going to the gym, walking and most importantly, going shopping!
